All that being said, you will discover that your gemstone may look quite different in person than the image on the web. That is due to a number of factors that are beyond everyones control.
- Morning sunlight, midday sunlight and afternoon sunlight are all different. If y0u don’t believe me then go outside early in the morning and find some red and blue flowers. Notice how bright the blue ones look and how the red ones are not so great. Then go out in the afternoon and look again. Wow, the red ones now seem bright and the blue ones a bit faded. So it will be with your gem. Try this. Take your gemstone out of its box and place it between two fingers on the back of your hand, palm down. Have some fun and look at your gemstone under as many different lights as possible. Don’t drop it though. 🙂
- Your indoor lighting conditions again will vary from room to room, changing the look of your gem. For example, Blue Sapphires will look great in the kitchen under fluorescent light. Rubies along with orange and yellow gems look better under warmer, living room lighting, unless you are going with LED’s, then they look not so great.
- The real question is, do you love your gem? Does it sparkle? Does it speak to you and call your name? If it does then keep it and enjoy it for a lifetime. If not the feel free to send it back for an exchange or a refund.
We want you to be absolutely thrilled with your purchase, therefore Fair East Wind offers a 15 day inspection period to review your purchase. The 15 day period begins when you sign for and receive your item from the carrier. If you are not completely satisfied with your item, return it unaltered within the 15 days for a full refund minus shipping. Items returned must be in the same sparkling, new condition that they were when they were delivered to you. No gemstone will be accepted for a refund if it has been set, scratched, polished, chipped, fractured, weighs differently or has been altered in any way.
We do not accept items beyond the 15 day inspection period. If you decide to return your purchase during the 15 day period please contact us, for a return authorization number.
If the amount charged exceeds your credit limit or if your card is declined, your order will be automatically canceled and you will be notified.
Fair East Wind also offers layaway plans for both US and international clients. After an initial deposit of 50%, our layaway plan allows you to make monthly payments, for up to 6 months, on any purchase. Bank wires are available for all orders over $500 USD. All Canadian and international bank wire payments are subject to a $35 USD processing fee by Fair East Wind. After you place your bank wire order, Fair East Wind will give you the account information you will need to provide to your bank in order to transfer funds from your account directly to a Fair East Wind account. It may take a few days for your bank to process the bank wire. Once your bank has transferred the funds, Fair East Wind is immediately notified. You will receive a confirmation, and your order is then processed. Order times may vary based on receipt of bank wire payment.
